Another exciting Annique Jubilee done and dusted! Sanette’s Rooibos Love Story Ladies Day 2015 sounds like a mouth full, but we had jaws dropping throughout the day. Each year, Annique consultants are required to host a Jubilee, or in modern terms, a Ladies Day, where Annique reveals their new gifting range and Forever Young products. 11903933_10203768311161701_1134386553946129856_nThis was my first one and I have to say, the amount of time and effort spent making this the event of the year was incredible. Plenty of tears, love, sweat and even a few drops of blood from paper cuts went into the planning and preparations. In the end, all the paper cuts were worth it!

The event was held on the 22nd of August 2015, at Shelanti Tea Garden in Centurion. Over 100 guests were invited and the turnout was amazing. There was a delicious Fountain of Youth where guests could taste different flavours of ice tea, from Cranberry to Green Rooibos. Each guest received a welcoming gift which consisted of my favourite Annique product, Essence Miracle Tissue Oil Lotion! I know this may seem boring to the majority of people, but remember, the event was dedicated to middle aged women who sell skin care products and enjoy drinking tea with their friends. At least, that’s what we’d like to believe. We, however, knew we had to heat it up a little bit, so we started the day off with a Fire Dancing show. That’s when you could hear jaws dropping to the floor! I saw fear in some guest’ eyes, and in others’ I saw pure bliss. As a Fire Dancer of 12 years, I know exactly what I’m doing. I’d be lying if I said I don’t get a thrill out of scaring people occasionally. After all, we are talking about real fire. Yes I have burnt myself before and no I don’t wet the bed because of it. I enjoy those questions though…

Former Mrs SA United Nations winner, Zantie Swanepoel, was our guest speaker. She delivered a very inspirational and uplifting speech about speaking life into your business, dedicated to all the ladies of course. Not to mention the Latin American dancers who made us all want to move to Cuba and open a dance school. There were amazing raffles and prizes to those consultants who out-performed our wildest expectations, and we even managed to raise a substantial amount of money for Uncle Ben’s Den-an amazing old aged home taking care of those in need.

Over all, Annique Rooibos Love Story 2015 was a major success! Not only were we able to celebrate amazing consultants, spend time together as women and 20150822_11574k8recharge our business, but we also managed to give back. Which, when you think about it, is what our goal for the day was: Sharing is caring.
